Learning and Participation Coordinator, 0-8 years (maternity cover)
Music in the Round seeks an organised, resourceful and hard-working individual with excellent communication skills to take on the rewarding post of Learning & Participation Coordinator for a year. You will be enthusiastic about Early Years music education, working as part of a very small team to deliver our schools and family programme of activity for 0-8 year olds.
Our current Learning & Participation Coordinator goes on maternity leave for a year in October, creating a fantastic opportunity for the right person to coordinate our award-winning Children’s Composer in Residence commissioned project, workshops and other activity to introduce young children from a range of backgrounds to high-quality music. The job involves liaising with musicians, schools, venues and our Music Hub partners, event management and some marketing. You will work closely with our Learning & Participation Manager, Fraser Wilson and Resident Animateur, 0-8 years, Polly Ives and members of Ensemble 360, our resident group of chamber musicians.
Post is three days a week, based in Sheffield with some travel to South Yorkshire
Salary: £9,000, pro-rata from £15,000
