BEETHOVEN String Quartet in E flat Op.74 Harp

Our Beethoven celebrations continue with the four string players from Ensemble 360 performing two of the composer’s famous string quartets. The Opus 18 set was Beethoven’s first foray into writing for string quartet, and yet they show all the traits of one of the greatest musical minds. With the Harp Quartet, Beethoven had by then completely mastered the form and was achieving levels of profound brilliance that were, and still are, without comparison.
