Join us for an evening where traditional Indian music meets modern electronica and live instruments.

Inspired by classic Indian lullabies, this event blends night sounds like cicadas, the night jar’s call, and the sound of rain with the soothing tones of a lullaby.

Attendees can enjoy the space as they wish: relax, get lost in the music, or engage with the melodies.

This event is the brainchild of Supriya Nagarajan, a Carnatic tradition singer from Southern India. Teaming up with musicians including Duncan Chapman, they’ve crafted a special soundscape for Woolwich.

About the Artists

Manasamitra

Manasamitra is an artist-led organisation based in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire, delivering a range of exciting and original cross-cultural experiences. Their work is rooted in the creative vision of Supriya Nagarajan, a classically-trained Carnatic singer who is inspired by not only the traditions of her South Asian roots but also by a drive to work with new ideas, forms and aesthetics from across the world, presented within a contemporary British context.
